I think from this book, I can see the author used the a lot of action words to describe how was the life in the mill when they were young. Also from different types of emotional words, I could feel the protagonists position in the book.

I noticed the protagonist of the book is Grace. I think the author used a lot of descriptive words to show how people worked in the mill. I think the author also used different types of the crafts such as using a metaphor in the book to describe the action.
