Finishing this just for the heck of it, but it isn't very good. The POV keeps jumping all over the place, from limited third, to omniscient narrator, to straight up head-hopping. The narrator parts I find overwritten. Too bad, as I was hoping this would read like a queer take on It.

A LOT was jam packed into chapter one. Too much, for my taste, but I do like the MC, so I'm hoping the pace evens out and there's not so much backstory dumping as the story continues. I really like the cover of this book.
