The unit goes through day two in lots of hard difficult long operations. They later have to do skydiving, Parker is dropped from the group for not wanting to Jump, Hines is dropped from the unit due to an instructors drunken incident that made Hines fall out of a plane and break his leg on the landing.

The unit moves to ranger training at Darby. Mitchell is dropped from the unit due to his bad ankle. Ford isn’t looking too good for making it through the amped up ranger training after day one.

Harlow has the training increased due to the loss of their closest chance to taking down Massiq. Some of the unit will have to be cut. The unit trains hard the second day and are left beat up. Jackson lost the fighting tournament to Winston which Lev allowed him to take his place. Keeble hears the news but isn’t happy about the increase timetable.

Keeble and Rodriguez finish their drinks at the bar. Winston and the team finish exchanging backstories and head back to the barracks. Wilson is introduced as an undercover CIA agent trying to infiltrate the arms Cartel of Massiq but his cover is blown and is betrayed and executed at the northern Afghanistan border. Harlow hears this and calls for a meeting with Jameson about the issue.

The unit finishes their long hard first day of training, Keeble and Rodriguez sneak off to a secret bar to have some drinks and Winston and a group of the unit sneak off base to another bar and share their stories over beers with each other.

Keeble and the men run 2 miles then notice a very difficult obstacle course which they do with enthusiasm. Winston tries to prove he’s not one to mess with by trying to keep a fast pace, staying in the lead. Big Lev came dogging in breaking the final hurdle. They are then taken to the firing range. Daisy, the stuttering white boy, shows his skills on the range, being quick to notice the targets.

The group of criminals meet Keeble and Winston doesn’t go into liking the group. The group moves out to their bunks at B-6 and meet another sergeant, Rodriguez, to help with the training at Fort Benning.

Keebler is assigned the mission of training the rag tag group of 12 criminals as he can no longer operate in the Army from being shot and this is his only option to work with the CIA to train the criminals for their mission. Keebler is not happy about doing it but knows it is his last way to have an impact in the military.

As I read further the backgrounds of the main characters are learned and what they are all like. You learn the conflict of the story that a cartel is a huge issue in the Middle East with the U.S Army so they will send these criminals with a hardcore military sergeant who is injured and recovering to first relate to the cartel and then take them down.
