I just started the book short and it's very sad because her dog just died and she is having a hard time coping with it so she still has his collar and is a little bit depressed right now because of her dog. I think she will start to realize hes gone and there is nothing she can do about it but right now she is just in shock that it happened.

My character reminds me of me because when I was younger I used to not want to go to dance so I would hide or try to fake an injury, in my book my character's mother put her in a play she didn't want to be in so she started to fall and land on her ankle and faked limped around but her mom didn't by it.

My character is not feeling good about herself because she is so short but then she overheard her parents talking about how short she is so I feel bad for her because if her parents are saying shes really short then she must feel really down because you grow up listening to your parents cheer you on so when they say something super negative like that then that would bring me down a lot.
