I am currently on page 95 of The Color Purple and so far the book is one of the best books I have read. It amazes me how strong Celie is and how she was willing to sacrifice her future for her sister Nettie. Celie's father raped her a numerous amount of times and he told her that she better not tell anyone except god, which is why she confides in god throughout the entire story.
