OKAY. SO. I was RIGHT about the reveal that I called on page 271 for no reason besides "this is a bog-standard and predictable twist, so I guess that's what's going to happen".
But this book did surprise me in its last 20 pages. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't out of nowhere, all the pieces were there - and ultimately, this is also what I thought SHOULD happen, but for some reason I didn't think it actually would.

Hmm. I have my suspicions about how a big reveal might play out.
I really have no reason to believe that this is what's going to happen, but seeing as this book has been pretty predictable so far I'm actually feeling somewhat confident.

How can you say that "at first glance, everything seems the same", and only a few lines later notice that the ceiling is now the night sky???

Also how was she able to see translations earlier when she wasn't wearing her glasses? Is there any logic to that? If yes, someone please explain it to me, because I don't get it.

50 pages in and my tentative review at this point is basically "yep, this is a YA novel". I'm not complaining though.
