It's a great story...how old is your daughter? I read Mother Daughter Book Club to my daughters.

11. I grew up watching the movies and loving them but for some reason never read any of them. She was assigned a historical fiction book report and I instantly thought of this. It's been very cute and endearing.

I loved the movies too and so far I've read the first book then I liked the story telling aspect so I listened to the next 2 books. It's one of the few books that I like to read more than listen too, but still listen to the audiobooks instead of reading them.

I need to reread this with my daughter.

Natasha, I'm sure your cute girl would love that. She's at the same age as Anne was. My daughter has been enamored by her.

Marla, I should try out the audio version sometime. I'm so curious how they do Anne's voice :).

@Annalisa, I think they did a great job on the audiobooks.

This is one of my all time favorites. How are you liking it so far?

We've enjoyed it very much.
