The protagonist of the story is Karl because he is trying to get his figure Sir Ironsoul to the ceremony at 10 the next day. Sir Ironsoul is the antagonist because whenever someone says the word devil he try’s to stab the person who said it, he only goes back still when someone plays a specific song.

I think that the books genre is realistic fiction because it’s placed back in a time where clock working was a more relavent profession.
