I really should just charge through this and face the fact that Cornelia Funke disappointed me because she was limited by Guillermo wanting to try and capture his brilliant movie into novel form and it just ain't the same

I really wanna DNF this but at least when I'm reading it goes by quickly??

I'm really trying to see the appeal of this written by Cornelia Funke vs the movie

so far the movie is winning by so much

unfortunately so far this is quite . . . terrible, actually

I cannot believe Cornelia has betrayed me like this
