Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky have been dating for a while now. But, Lara Jean's ex-best friend is Peter's ex-girlfriend. So, as you can imagine, it can be complicated between Peter and Lara Jean sometimes. Especially since Peter and Gen (ex-girlfriend) still talk all the time which makes Lara Jean and Peter's relationship have a thin layer of trust. LJ tries not to get jealous but sometimes it's just too hard.
