I like the concepts, I really do, but I feel like the chapters are a bit redundant and the book winds back on itself in a less-than-coherent way. I find myself forgetting which philosopher is being discussed about every other page.

The book is much better than what I originally thought. I do not usually like non-fiction that relates to self-help, but I am able to almost lose myself in the book at this point. With only 50 pages left, I do think that this should have happened sooner, but I don{t believe that my time reading has been a waste.

The book has changed direction and has started looking at Daoism. Already it is more cohesive and I find this part to be more interesting and less sporadic.
