The character in this book dig holes every day, so he can make money but he can't take too big of a step or else he wouldn't be successful, he has to do it a bit by bit so he can be successful. I think the thing we have in common is that we both want to be successful, for example when I'm in school I can't do something that's way over my grade level so I have to take small steps and try to be more successful.
