What is it with the repetition of 'A simple breakfast' every time breakfast is made? Also, what's with the allocation of that label to things like vegetable omelettes? What with the lunch and dinner descriptions previously mentioned, it's like these people are eating three dinners a day.

of her working for him though. And his thoughts during one of the kisses at the end kind of worried me, but then again the "she hasn't said she's mine but she is and so I don't care whether I have permissiont to kiss her, I'm going to" kind of thinking seems to be common in novels with romance in them. Still worrying, but it's more a problem with the trend than just with this story.

I don't get why Alison had to keep her secret a secret, although I understand why she might have initially lied about it, figuring that Cole would never need to know the truth. Despite this and the whole either-my-cooking-abiities-are-always-going-to-be-inadequate-or-these-people-eat-really-fancily thing (it's probably a mixture of both), I really enjoyed this story. It'd be weird adjusting to being married instead

Cereal? THAT is a simple breakfast! And I should mention that I'm enjoying the story, it's just that the breakfast thing, as well as some missing words, stood out to me.

Scrambled eggs, toast, sliced fruit and coffee is a 'simple breakfast'? What's a complicated one? None of those food items are really complicated in and of themselves, I guess. It's just...I guess it just jumped out at me because I'm just not a cook.
