Einstein taught us that everything is energy, so I suppose God has to do with strength and the energy of love and light, positive things and goodness. He is not the deity personified by religions.

Basically I agree with Flaubert who said that there is a division between Lord and man, in that the Lord is responsible for the beginning and the end and we are responsible for everything in between. This makes life easier.

I think that wherever you look for God you’ll still have to pass through that door o humility and that door of complete vulnerability that a child has. There are very few musicians who don’t believe in God.
