Thankfully, the pace has picked up considerably the last 20 percent or so. I'm actually kind of enjoying this now. Finally.

This book is so slow. Fifty percent in and literally nothing Interesting has happened yet. Here's hoping it picks up in the second half.

I might just give up on this novel. Every tiny thing is being described in vivid detail. Literally everything. Im 23 percent in and nothing has happened yet.

Happiness is not guaranteed. It is not a God-given right. It is not forever earned. We are all children with our hands in the cookie jar, and our happiness can be snatched away at any moment and held cruelly out of our reach.
