I like the idea of a fictional novel about climate change. But I'm finding that there is a lot of scientific jargon - or maybe pseudo-scientific. I'm not science-minded so I'm definitely not going to analyze whether or not the stuff is possible but I find myself re-reading paragraphs just to get a general idea of what they are proposing. That makes it feel less like a casual read and more like an educational read.
