We honoured and remembered our white cat son, Love, yesterday. We regret that this year, five years is longer than he lived. I have a childhood cat who died 16 years ago, who is still not away as long as she lived. That is sad. But our love is just as strong and we know, so is Lovey's love for us. To you, our Love! It is a pleasure to return to Howard Engel's humorous writing and relatable people, in small town Ontario, 1992.

I am leaving a note that our dear white cat, Love, passed away 5 years ago. I dreaded this day because too quickly, on this year, he has been gone longer than he was physically here. That isn't right. Early, sudden death is a part that never feels okay. However, our Lovey is still loved and loving us!

It is my pleasure to return to Ste. Catherine, Ontario's great Howard Engel! Now the series has reached 1993 but old school vibes continue to resonate, which I enjoy. Loveable, Jewish-Canadian private investigator, Benny Cooperman was my age twenty years ago and of course, creator Howard Engal is in his eighties. Therefore an old world connection will be retained throughout the modernity of these unique mysteries.
