- The audiobook is the American version (even though Jim Dale has a British accent?) so they changed things. Examples: 'jumper' (which I think is a better word) to 'sweater', 'Father Christmas' to 'Santa Claus' and 'football' to 'soccer', just to name a few. And I know, it's made 'easier for American audiences to understand', but really? It's especially odd when you have a British narrator. So yeah, I don't like that

Pursuing my plan to listen to the Harry Potter audiobooks as a way of re-reading. If you are wanting to re-read the Harry Potter series, or any book in general, I would recommend to listen to them. It's a whole new experience of the same book. Two things before I go:
