I always feel accomplished when I reach the 100-page landmark in books like these. For non-fiction novels I am always finding myself reading and writing in my moleskine because there are so many lines that I think are meaningful for me to look back on. Naturally this process does burn a lot of time as well but I get the most out of it this way.

Walked into Barnes & nobles on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. I told myself I wouldn't pick up a book because I was currently in the middle of reading 4 other novels. I was going in to grab a cup of coffee when I saw this on the second table closest to the main entrance. I've had mixed impressions of Haruki Murakami, loved South of the Border West of the Sun but disliked The Wind up Bird Chronicles.
