going on a road trip & need some audiobook recs!
i've never really listened to audiobooks so preferably something that won't be too hard to follow without a physical book in hand :)

I found memoirs to be pretty easy to follow along with. Becoming by Michelle Obama is one of my favorites!

maybe do a book you’ve already read before?? enjoy it an different way and that way you won’t have to follow all that time!
pulling out all the recs here. generally, i find contemporary easier to audiobook than fantasy so some of my absolute favourites:- The Great Alone
- The Unhoneymooners
- Every Heart a Doorway
- Love & Luck (cute book with a roadtrip, so i thought that might be fitting lol)
- A Man Called Ove

Good audiobooks I found include Illuminae, Spinning Silver, The Amulet of Samarkand, Theft of Swords, The Final Empire, The Dresden Files, Skulduggery Pleasant, The False Prince, SabrielClassics also usually have good narrators.
(Obviously, I read mostly fantasy, so I don’t know how helpful that is.)
Look for something with a full cast! I find it's easier to follow audiobooks when the characters have different voices
I second the full cast recommendation as The Illuminae Files & sleeping giants + if you are in a romance mood, pick up the flatshare
