I’ll forgive the huge chronological disparity between the two books for the simple reason that the Equality March is DC is so massively thematically resonant to the story that who cares if only 4 months have passed between 2012 & 2018?

Besides being completely tired of the "exceptionally witty & intelligent teens" trope of YA lit, this book is incredibly enthralling. I'm glad I finally got around to it.
