This is a shocker. The USA is very different culturally and even more so since the sixties and seventies cultural revolution where MY age group rebelled against our parents and all they represented. Even more different is Abenaki traditions. Interesting is what is valued. Emily Post's etiquette appears superfitional; but that's only my opinion
