Philip It's all very macho and cop-show so far, but I'm only a short way in. Waiting for the interesting stuff to start, really.

Dave Doesn't sound typically Cornell-ish. Be interested to hear your thoughts when you're done though.

Philip I believe Cornell's a bit of a fan of The Sweeney and those other Life on Marsish 70s cop shows. So far, this reads like their bastard son who's been watching a lot of The Wire.

But, as I say, I haven't got to the fantastical stuff. (Well, someone's just exploded. But the implications haven't been explored yet.)
