So, somewhere in between being 30% and 50% finished, the book picked up and became quite interesting, but now I’m back to wondering where it's going...I have a feeling that the angel concept is going to be dragged out and unrealistic rules/views are going to appear that make lots of celestial beings suddenly have nothing better to do than care about a half angel being in love with a human...

Ugh...why does it feel like Nina is being difficult, not for character development, but purely so that there's more 'tension' between her and Jared and something for them to argue over and make up over, and then eventually put her in more danger, becuase she really is just being difficult, and then Jared will have to save her...bleh.
