And finished. You know the big stupid grin you get on your face when you finish a book you like? I have it on mine right at this moment. It's not that I thought it was a perfect book, but it was just the right read for me at the right time. I enjoyed it and watching Akash's journey. It's nice to see a protagonist gain what he ultimately wanted, and the book's environment was well drawn. Review to come.

This book is making me want to play Sudoku. Argh. In any case, I'm close to the end. I think Akash did the right thing with his respective savings. Glad to see the old man will recover.

Oh that is a nifty numbers trick. I do like the attention this bookk gives to Akash's interest in math/numbers. Still reading, hopefully I'll finish this soon.

This is where I stop for tonight. Very good so far, but I know I need to get some writing time in for at least 90 minutes. I'll finish this tomorrow, but I have to say I'm loving Akash and his journey so far. Really like the attention to place details in this book.

This is certainly more middle grade than young adult from the stylistic. I'm liking what I've read of it so far, though while it has very interesting intimacy with the place and customs, I'm still getting to know the characters. Poor Akash. The only thing I can say about him for the moment without spoiling is that he's going through a really tough time.

I picked this up from my library completely at random, and I'll admit it was because the cover caught my eye (it's cute!) and it was on one of the "featured" shelves of the library. I'm looking forward to it. =)
