It’s pretty interesting so far. He strikes a good balance with setting up the historical backdrop and not making it feel like a history book. He also does a good job of mentioning the many people involved in the story without it feeling like a thank you note or forced name dropping.

I take back most of my earlier praise. It’s slow and it feels like you’re trying to listen to someone tell a story, you know the story’s going to be really good, but the storyteller is doing his best to tell it as poorly as possible. This guy may have done some cool stuff, but he seems to have a giant ego.
