It feels tacky to say I think the editor made poor choices with this collection (because after all, it's an impossible task), but Roxane Gay's "North Country" is the only story I've really enjoyed so far.

Exactly how I felt about 90% of last year's collection.

I liked two of the stories. There were maybe one or two others that were OK. Pretty disappointing.
