Fun facts:
(1) I originally planned to have this be my 300th review, but I forgot and read something else. 108 books later I've finally got back to it!
(2) This book's notable for being the last decent thing Frank Miller wrote. He was riding high in the '90s doing this and Sin City, then 9-11 happened and everything since has been abysmal.

Some things:
(1) Never stand with your back to a bottomless pit.
(2) Being ancient Greece, and an indie comic, I expected nudity. I was not prepared, however, for the prevailing fashion among Spartans to be ankle-length capes and nothing else.
(3) Every page is a double-page spread. It's all very cinematic and, with the coloring, quite painterly.
