These are incredibly difficult poems to grant passage into your consciousness. They're dark, filled with bitterness, pain and personal anguish. They offer little hope for humanity. But the rewards are revelatory: you get some deeper inkling of how we let the world spin out of control; or better yet, you realize that control was a horrible illusion. Crow isn't so facilely a symbol for Death. Crow is much, much more.
