Holy cow, I'm over 200 pages into the book and Frodo is still in the shire - good book but slow (and I only read it on the train so that slows me down as well)

Good book so far but Tolkien's attention to detail in LOTR is an order of magnitude higher then the Hobbit - slowing my reading down significantly
