Not sure about this so far. I love Daniel Handler, but the protagonist's voice seems inconsistent thus far: while she is witty, trendy, and clearly intelligent/self-aware, she'll spell things incorrectly and leave her sentences incomplete. But maybe this is just part of her quirkyness; it's difficult to tell yet.
