How do you like it so far?

I like it a lot actually. Very different from what I was expecting. I really only heard from you that it was good and did not read the teaser snippet on it. I was thinking it would be sort of fairy tale like (See Stardust) but its a historical book.

I love that Death is the narrator, and the author put in humor in a book about Nazi Germany. For those that lived then there wasn't a lot of real humor going around I think. The humor fits though, doesn't seem out of place. Especially with Death.

I quite like the characters. They have been developed well, the author really makes you love them and root for them. I look forward to rounding the story out. I foresee a 4.5 to 5 star rating. (I rate based on my enjoyment of the book, not necessarily the literary content.)
