I am almost 3/4th of the book and except for few precious sentences of wisdom, it reads like your boring dad giving you advice on how to live life.

Or maybe I am just reading Nietzsche and Seneca at the same time and I am just much more fascinated with the idea of exerting my will to power and becoming the "übermensch" rather than just accepting that I cannot control my external situations.
