Found huge amounts of dried blood in my book. I purchased it used from amazon and flipped through the book before i started reading but... i dunno how but i missed all the blood. it obscured some passages to say the least.
still pretty violent and in the same place in time as 30 or so pages ago. the story slowed way down but i feel like it's about to pick back up. tension is building and i'm impatient for the end.

So the pace is a little slower now toward the middle of the book. A lot less violence in these middle passages but the tension is still high. Really looking forward to seeing where this ends and finding it hard to put down!

wooo okay so this book hits the ground running. you're pretty much put right in the middle of the action from the first paragraph. loving the book so far but having to take it in small doses. there is some triggering and depressing content in the first several pages that brought tears to my eyes.
