Just when I think Dathne can't possibly get any worse... And unfortunately Gar, Asher and Matt are starting to get on my nerves too. I smell fail.

Not only is Dathne still annoying, the confused notion of how fate and destiny work are really distracting. Things go great until Prophecy with a capital P are mentioned and then the narrative regresses to inanity.
