So far, I'm loving that I'm picking up on the variations between the movie (which is technically the originals for me, as I saw the movies first) and the book. I'm liking it soooo much more than I'm remembering enjoying The Hobbit

I don’t know who told me Legolas and Arwen didn’t exist in the books, but I’m incredibly relieved to see both of them—AND GIMLI! I didn’t think the book was so much more drawn out than the movies, but I guess that’s only natural!
