Exiled from Rome, a rockstar takes his own life. Galba is so boring people execute him without really trying. Otho briefly calls himself Nero then gets poisoned after dicking people over.

An egotistical imbecile who believes everything he hears and considers himself a genius? Claudius sure does sound like a certain current world leader. Oh, well, time for everyone’s favourite red headed hipster. I’m surprised no one’s made a rock opera about Nero the Roman rockstar.

Caligula was interesting. Even if you take it with a massive grain of salt there is still a lengthy series of negative rumours on display here. Still, I’d have to say I’m of the opinion that much of this is probably enemy propaganda produced by the Senate and later Emperors trying to distance themselves from the old dynasty.

And I thought Tiberius was an arsehole before. At least I’m up to Little Boots. Good old crazy as a loon Little Boots.
