The book I am reading is a novel told in chronological order. But, the characters go back in time, so it includes flashbacks but at the same time it doesn’t. The characters go back in time reveal events that gives Marcus and his friends clues. These clues help them solve the unknown mystery of the Oracle of Baz.

A minor character in my book is The Oracle of Baz. Oracle of Baz is a minor character because he isn’t in every seen or part of the book but he is important because he gave a fortune to Theo, that he will die on his next birthday, which is in one week. This character is a big distraction to Marcus because he has to finish many books that are very important to other dimensions and this is a very confusing mystery.

An archetype in this book is when the author uses the library very often. The library symbolizes a secret dark place with endless books with unknown endings. Each unfinished story is always about a disastrous thing happening that could take over the world. Marcus has this key to go anywhere the book takes him to save the town from anything bad happening.
