A chronological story is one that is in order from beginning to end, just like this book. Percy Jackson is a series of books that starts with one beginning of a Demi-God to the end of the journey, at the final books. You need to read the books in chronological order to understand the concept, plot, and theme. For example, the 2ed book begins with bad news and so far, Percy is solving it, from beginning to end.

A minor character is Grover, but just because he is a minor character doesn't mean that he isn't important. Grover has a best friend character, Percy Jackson, and the two of them fight monsters together. Grover talks Percy out of bad ideas and situations, and even better he can always smell out a fight, literally. He has a very strong sense of smell which is helpful. Overall, Grover is an important minor character.
