It's really hard to enjoy this book. It is such a tepid retread of social democratic opposition to Trump and political centrism, devoid of almost any new analysis or thoughts, that it just feels generic. Giroux is a fine writer, so it has that going for it, but why do we need a book today that just feels so stale? Who is this book actually for?
