The article on the Marlins and Rockies was very fascinating, and I had no idea the Marlins had so many good players in their history. As a fan of a small market team, Dave Cameron's piece on the new CBA was sad, but maybe they'll get it right someday... at least baseball hasn't had a strike in as long time.

Some great stuff here. I think what I'm realizing most is that I love baseball's regular season. As the playoffs get more and more important, I love the grind of the regular season in which the best teams rise to the top even more. Playoffs just seem like too much of a crapshoot, though maybe that's because my team can't win in the playoffs very well.
