Concentrated Andy Weir., All the things that made The Martian fun. A lot of fascinating science and engineering trivia wrapped in a candy coating of nearly perfect genre fiction thriller. The characters are largely two dimensional but interesting enough that we still care about the out come. The libertarian subreddit quality of most of the book's swings at political economics is a largely ignorable distraction.
