Tessio is a minor character that is somehow relevant. Sonny called him in for his men when Don got shot because apparently he has a lot of gangsters working for him, so he’s in all of the meetings but it isn’t like he’s really part of it, he’s just there listening and they have to let him in because they are using all of his men.

In The Godfather the name “godfather” comes up a lot and The Godfather can mean two things, you either love him or you fear him. When he is around death will normally follow, once you owe The Godfather a favor you will forever be in debt to him, the favor might never come but if it does you must serve him with no questions asked.

I just started reading my book and all I can tell from it at the time is that the story is very tense and serious. I feel like this entire book is going to be very serious because it is about some intense serious stuff that they wouldn’t joke about. I feel like the tension is always going to be lingering around in the story.
