Connection - Then Dalton turns to his sister and whispers, “Give her the eyes.” Their mom had always told both Dalton and Sarah that their big blue eyes could melt anyone into a puddle.
I used to use this trick on my brother. One look and he would play basically any game I wanted.

Connection - “There’s no radar image for a water crisis. No storm surges, no debris fields - the Tap-Out is as silent as cancer. There’s nothing to see, and so the news is treating it like a sidebar.” The water crisis isn’t getting the coverage it needs because there aren’t any dramatic images for the media to use. If it was getting more coverage, people could help raise money or send water bottles to help out.

I started reading this because Neal Shusterman is one of my favorite authors.
