The assortment of stories is well thought out. Each one has quite a different taste from the last, though all encompass that mood and feel of noir. Personal favorite so far, 'The Wrench in Her Works'.

This has been my "stop randomly around town to sit down and read some gritty, fast-punching noir" book. I'll miss it when I'm through it.
