The poem I read was about abuse.

I cant write about what I read... its not school appropriate.

TODAY I READ A LONG POEM ABOUT A GIRL AND HOW SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN OVERWEIGHT AND HER STRUGGLES WITH HER BODY, I ALSO REA A POEM ABOUT A GIRL AND HER MOTHER THAT WAS IS CRONIC DIETER AND HOW HER MOTHER BELIEVES THAT THERE IS “A NEW HER UNDER ALL OF HER FAT”. (oops didn’t mean to do it in all caps)

There was only one poem that was “good” today and it wasn’t even that great. It was about these people preparing, cooking then eating a roasted pig and it was in so much detail that it kinda made me upset and sick just to take a sip back and realize that what we eat was once alive and had a life and what we do to the animals is genuinely inhuman and honestly disgusting...

Today I read poems about the face and hands. One poem that seemed to be like a story was about a Japanese woman that was insecure of her face and how round it was and how small her eyes where and at the end it talks about how she got into a car crash. And she went through the windshield and her face was torn off and how “now nobody remembers what her face looks like”.

Today I read poems about the face and hands. One poem that seemed to be like a story was about a Japanese woman that was insecure of her face and how round it was and how small her eyes where and at the end it talks about how she got into a car crash. And she went through the windshield and her face was torn off and how “now nobody remembers what her face looks like”.

I read a few poem and today I found a really good one about a person that had felt with cancer and they had seen themselves change so much, they didn’t know if they could trust what they saw in the mirror, or if they liked what they saw but they knew that it was them deep down and she was whole with that and grateful they are alive.

I found two poems that I liked today, one was called “breath” and the other “cobwebs”. They both have a lot of imagery and pretty words which I liked a lot.

So far I have read 2 poems and they are strange but I can spreceiate them and the “stories” behind them. The only problem is I don’t know how exactly im would talk about it is our “podcast” but im also having difficulties getting a book that peaks my intreats / finding one in general that fits what I want.
