Wow, this book is surprising me (maybe because of the social niche in which I was raised). I expected the high tension, but I also expected a lesser story-line, yet reviews were great. So I tried it. Wow, was I ever wrong. The story and character development are among the best I've read. Note: If you want things settled, you may not like how one could interpret the events as paranormal, insanity or hallucinations.
