How bittersweet.

There’s a segment on the news about college sweethearts now engaged, after he proposed to her at firefighters’ academy family night (in Tempe, AZ?). They look so happy together ... I guess that was what Artie & Brooklyn were like. 😭

The happiest day of my life. Today’s the day I’m asking the woman I love more than life itself to marry me. The day I know she’s going to say yes because she was made just for me.

And for her, I’ll go with Brooklyn Decker. IMDB has her as blond (Callum said she is a natural blond, like his 6-year-old Addy/Addison, not a dyed one like his mother 😆).

Green eyes, six-foot-plus frame, touch of ginger in his brown hair ... not sure why, but I’m picturing one of the fellas from one of the “300” movies as Callum/Cal/CB (Callum Bennett) - coincidently, that actor’s name = CallAN Mulvey. 😆

You don’t just brush your teeth after eating cotton candy. You see to the things that matter every day.

Brooklyn (oh, *that’s* her name!) had 12 years with Artie, then she lost him 2 years ago when a burning building collapsed on him & a fellow firefighter.

Did we meet Callum before? What about ... oh my gosh, I forget HER name already. 🤦🏻‍♀️
