Continued Update for May 7th
My favorite character is Hermione because she stands up for what’s right, smart, kind, and clever. For example, she stood up to Fred and George by saying, “ He could if you don’t watch out.” (P. 165) Ron didn’t want to say anything back to his siblings because he didn’t want it to get worse, so Hermione stepped in to help.

Currently, Harry has reached Hogwarts, however, Hagrid is missing, and in his place is Professor Umbridge, who was at the hearing.
I believe that Draco will get away with mistreating the new coming children. Even though he deserves to be expelled, he always seems to get out of trouble because his father consistently convinces Dumbledore to keep him out of it.

Currently, Harry found and article on Cornelius Fudge and Sirius Black and is reading it on the train to Hogwarts.
The most significant word in this book is Voldemort. Everyone shudders or gets frightened when his name is said. The name is so powerful that people get scared just at the sound of it. Words and names can be very powerful.

The title, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is a great title because the Order of the Phoenix is the group of wizards and witches that prevents Voldemort from taking over the wizardry world. The Order of the Phoenix is also a central part of the book.

Right now, Ron, Hermione, and Harry are thinking that Sirius Black isn’t happy that Harry is going back to Hogwarts because they believe he doesn’t want to be alone anymore.

Right now, Harry is being interrogated in the hearing. The judges don’t believe there weren’t dementors there, but Harry is telling the truth by saying there were.
A conflict in the book is that Harry is being accused of using magic in a muggle town, and Harry is saying that he was only trying to protect himself and his cousin.
