Hazel has lung cancer, and her mom thinks she is depressed, so she makes her go to a support group. She isn’t happy about the idea, but she goes anyways. One day when she goes to the group she meets someone named Augustus. They quickly have a connection and Augustus invites her to go and watch a movie at his house.
